Change a Photo Background to Blue

Blue is already selected. Blue backgrounds are required by some ID cards, exams and company badges. Choose a photo; the background is removed automatically and the checks sample the top corners to confirm the color.

No ID photo needed: a phone selfie or any ordinary photo works. It centers on your face, crops to the required size and changes the background.

When taking it: stand in front of a plain light wall with even light and no shadows; hold the phone at eye level about an arm’s length away and include your shoulders; face the camera with ears and eyebrows visible, no hat. JPG, PNG, WebP or iPhone HEIC.

Where does the cutout happen?

In your browser. The first time, an AI cutout model of about 16 MB is downloaded and cached. Only the model is downloaded — your photo is never sent anywhere, so there is nothing to "delete after 24 hours".

Better results

Use a photo with a simple background that contrasts with your hair and clothes and has even light without shadows. If hair edges look rough, try a photo taken against a plainer wall.
