Resize a Signature to Exact Pixels or cm

Signature mode is on. Sign on white paper, take a photo with your phone and choose it: the paper becomes pure white, the signature is trimmed and centered, and the file is resized to the width and height you enter. For cm or inches, use More settings.

No ID photo needed: a phone selfie or any ordinary photo works. It centers on your face, crops to the required size and changes the background.

When taking it: stand in front of a plain light wall with even light and no shadows; hold the phone at eye level about an arm’s length away and include your shoulders; face the camera with ears and eyebrows visible, no hat. JPG, PNG, WebP or iPhone HEIC.

Sign on plain white paper with a dark pen (black or blue) and take a photo with your phone — that’s all. No scanner needed.

Shadows, grey paper and uneven light are cleaned up to pure white automatically; the signature is trimmed, centered and fitted to the size without stretching. Everything stays on your device.

How to photograph a signature

  1. Paper and pen: plain white paper with no lines; a black or dark blue pen. Felt-tip or gel pens give stronger lines than a light ballpoint.
  2. Light: near a window or under a lamp. A shadow from your phone or hand is fine — it is removed — but avoid very dark photos.
  3. Framing: hold the phone straight above the paper so the signature fills a good part of the photo. If other writing is nearby, zoom the box to just the signature.

Pixels or cm?

Upload forms check pixels. If the form gives the size in cm (for example 6 × 2 cm or 3.5 × 1.5 cm), open More settings, enter the size and unit, and it converts to pixels at the DPI you set. The signature is fitted into that shape with white margins, never stretched.

FAQ

Do I need a scanner?

No. A phone photo is enough: uneven light, grey paper and shadows are cleaned up to pure white automatically, and only the signature is kept.

My signature is blue. Will it stay blue?

Yes, the pen color is kept by default. If the form asks for black, choose “Make it pure black” under More settings.

Will my signature be distorted to fit the size?

No. The signature is trimmed to its own outline and placed on a white canvas of the required shape; any difference in shape is filled with white space.

Is my signature uploaded anywhere?

No. All processing runs in your browser; the image never leaves your device.
