Resize a Photo to Exact Pixels

Type the width and height in pixels. The photo is cropped to that ratio (you can drag the crop box) and then resized exactly, so it never looks stretched.

No ID photo needed: a phone selfie or any ordinary photo works. It centers on your face, crops to the required size and changes the background.

When taking it: stand in front of a plain light wall with even light and no shadows; hold the phone at eye level about an arm’s length away and include your shoulders; face the camera with ears and eyebrows visible, no hat. JPG, PNG, WebP or iPhone HEIC.

Why resized photos look stretched

Many tools scale the whole photo to the new width and height. If the ratio differs, the face gets squashed. Cropping to the target ratio first keeps proportions correct.

Form gives inches or cm?

Under More settings, enter the physical size and pick inches, cm or mm; it converts to pixels at the DPI you set. For example 2×2 inches at 300 DPI is 600×600 pixels.

FAQ

Why is my resized photo blurry?

If the cropped area of the original is smaller than the target pixels, it has to be enlarged. The checks warn you; use a sharper original.

Can I also set the file size?

Yes — enter a minimum and/or maximum KB and both rules are applied together.
